Since setting up Green Mountain Minerals more than two decades ago, minerals, and the mineral business, have been the driving force of Dylan’s life. In that time, he has helped to build several of the world’s finest private collections and has also provided specimens to some of the great museums. The process of helping individuals or institutions find the perfect pieces to enhance their collections is his calling in life.
Kevin worked as a geoscientist and technical leader in the oil industry for 35 years, and has been a collector of minerals for fifty years, so it seemed natural that when he moved to Beacon to establish a geological consultancy, his relationship with Green Mountain Minerals would evolve from collector to contractor. As Business Manager, his knowledge of collecting and the business skills acquired in industry are put to use managing inventory and logistics, and dealing with the minutiae of daily business to allow Dylan to do what he does best…putting fine minerals together with knowledgeable collectors.
Erin discovered her love and intrigue in fine minerals immediately upon joining the Green Mountain Minerals team in 2021. Her lively spirit of inquiry and fascination with the natural world make her a quick study, and she delights in sharing her growing knowledge with clients in Beacon and at mineral shows. Aside from getting to grips with the physical and chemical mysteries behind the formation of a perfect crystal, the most thrilling aspect of sharing these natural wonders with enthusiasts of all ages is witnessing a discerning collector meet the treasure for which they have been searching.
