The Red Cloud mine in Arizona is one of the world’s most noted wulfenite localities, with specimens recovered both in the course of the original mining and through several periods of attempts to recover specimens. This fabulous “window pane” example, with a focal crystal measuring 2.25 x 1.25cm, was collected by Wayne Thompson and his colleagues during work undertaken at the Red Cloud in 1996.
