The “cave calcites” of Wenshan County in China that have come to market over the past couple of decades have come in a fabulous array of shapes, reminiscent of sceptres, bowls, crowns and flowers. This one somehow grew to mimic almost perfectly the shape of a pumpkin, right down to the stalk on top…a perfect centrepiece for decorating the Halloween Party table!
